About the Race

Join Velo Amis for a trail race in honor of Enoch Lee. Historically, this race has been run through Middle Run Valley Park. 5k and 10k options are available.

Race to Save the World will continue to benefit students at Enoch’s previous schools and fund other causes Enoch was passionate about.

Runners who register by 5/3 will guarantee a shirt.

Virtual Runner 5k & 10k:
Can’t make it to the race? Sign up as a virtual runner. No prizes, but you’ll get the race t-shirt and a race bib to support the race from whereever you are. Category only open until 5/3/19 in order to ensure timely delivery.

13 & under, 14 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60+
Prizes to top 3 in each age/gender group


Registration & Pricing

$10 registration available for:
-Runners 19 years old & younger and runners 70 years old & up
-Veteran/active duty members of the military, National Guard, and first responders. Thank you for your service!
No late fees apply for these categories.

$30 pre-registration for all other categories.
Day-of registration is available for a $10 late fee.


enochWho was Enoch Jae Woo Lee? Enoch’s Bio on his Instagram read, “I wanna save the world. I’m a musician trying to become a doctor.” Enoch was a friend to everyone, his smile was infectious.  His life was cut short at the age of 21. This race is run in his memory and all proceeds benefit the Enoch Lee Memorial Fund. In the past, the fund has provided scholarships to Newark High School and a donation to the Aetna Volunteer Fire Department.
