Velo Amis proposed upgrading 1,900 feet of trail in Redd Park to an all weather, accessible trail and we were awarded a grant to make this project a reality! 

The Redd Park all weather trail is now a reality and it was only possible through significant collaboration. Thanks to Athletic Brewing Company and their Two for the Trails Grant Program, Appalachian Dirt Trail Building Company for their exceptional work, and the Trail Spinners providing the mechanized equipment and completing the finishing work. A big thank you to the Newark Parks & Recreation for all their support, for moving all the equipment for providing all of the stone and moving it to the work site!
