** THIS RIDE WILL TAKE LONGER THAN YOU THINK!  THERE IS A LOT OF SINGLE TRACK.  REMEMBER THAT IT GETS DARK AROUND 4:30 PM.  PLEASE DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE YOU.  YOU MAY WANT LIGHTS FOR EMERGENCY.  YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF HOW FAST YOU ARE RIDING SO THAT YOU MAKE IT BACK BEFORE IT GETS DARK.  YOU MAY WANT TO RIDE GRAVEL BACK TO OLD STONE IF YOU NEED TO.  REGISTRATION WILL OPEN AT 7:00 AM FOR THE LONG ROUTE AND 8:00 AM FOR THE SHORT ROUTE.  YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER CHANGING TO THE SHORT ROUTE (SUPER FUN SINGLE TRACK, WE PROMISE).  YOU CAN MAKE A GAME DAY DECISION AS LONG AS YOU LET US KNOW WHEN YOU CHECK IN.  THE SPLIT FOR THE LONG / SHORT COURSE HAPPENS AROUND MILE 20. 

LAST CALL AT OLD STONE IS AT 5:30 PM AND THEY CLOSE AT 6:00 PM

EVENT DAY INFORMATION:
Long Route: Registration and packet pickup opens at 7:00 am riders must depart by 8:30 am
Short Route: Registration and packet pickup opens at 8:00am riders must depart by 10:00 am

WHERE:
The Cider Stomper MTB tour begins and ends at Old Stone Cider 959 Chesterville Road Lewisville, PA 19351
WHAT:
This ride begins and ends at Old Stone Cider.  The long route is a four park tour covering Fair Hill, White Clay Creek, Redd Park and Middle Run Park.  The short route stays in Fair Hill Park.  Both courses are primarily on single track trail but there is some road, gravel, double track and field in the routes.
DISTANCES:
Long Route: Approximately 50 miles
Short Route: Approximately 26 miles
ROUTE AMMENITIES:
The short route will have 2 rest stops at approximately 11 miles and 20 miles
The long route will have 3 rest stops at approximately 11 miles, 20 miles, 30 miles and 44 miles.
You will need to be fully self supported on this ride.  
Rest stops will be well-stocked with goodies to keep you moving through the route.
The route turns will be marked, however, you are ultimately responsible, so please download maps and cue sheets and GPS files (will be sent to registered riders once online registration closes).  We will NOT have Cue Sheets for you at the event, please print your own or download the PDF file of the cue sheet and save paper. The event director may alter the proposed routes due to acts of nature, road closures, and/or local recommendations. 
Remember, this is not a RACE. Enjoy a ride taking in the beauty of our parks. We are riding on trails and bike paths that have many other users including equestrians in Fair Hill.

Sorry, no refunds. Please see Route Change & Transfer Information below to see your options.  We are a 501c3 organization and your entry fee becomes a donation. Please purchase insurance through BikeReg if you are looking for a refund option.  This is a rain or shine event and will only be cancelled if rider safety is at risk.  If the trails will be damaged, we will re-route to roads and gravel trails.

ROUTE CHANGE AND TRANSFER INFORMATION:
Sorry, no refunds will be available.
Transfers between cyclists are allowed via BikeReg and can be done by the registered cyclist for a $5 fee until pre-registration closes.  Category changes are allowed at no charge and can be done by the registered cyclist until pre-registration closes on BikeReg, and at the event.
THE GOODIES:
All riders will receive a Cider Stomper Glass, all you can eat French Fries, 1 free Cider or beer or non alcoholic drink.  A food truck will be on site for you to purchase post event food.   Stocked rest stops and a well marked course as well as great riding scenery!
GPS Files/Cue Sheets:
Final Cue Sheets and GPS files/Maps will be emailed to riders within 24 following the close of online registration.
Please be advised that route changes may be made depending on local requirements or local trail conditions.
The route will be well-marked, however, you are ultimately responsible, so please download maps and cue sheets and GPS files.
